08
Surface polishing (optional)
If you have high requirements for wall smoothness, after the surface putty has completely dried, lightly sand the wall with fine-grit sandpaper to polish it. Once polished, use a clean cloth to remove any loose dust, leaving the wall with a细腻 and smooth texture.
01
Grassroots testing
Inspect the wall for flatness, verticality, hollow sounds, and pH levels. Ensure that the moisture content of the substrate meets construction standards. Any non-conforming areas must be marked in advance for remediation.
02
Entry preparation
Count and inventory construction materials, tools, and protective equipment; plan the material storage areas; and conduct thorough technical briefings and safety training for construction personnel.
03
Material arrival
Organize the timely delivery of various materials according to the construction schedule. Categorize and stack putty, mortar, auxiliary materials, and other supplies, and take proper precautions against moisture, sunlight, and tipping over.
04
Finished product protection
Cover indoor doors, windows, lighting fixtures, switch panels, and other non-construction areas with protective films and masking paper to prevent dust and residue generated during putty application from contaminating finished surfaces.
05
Grassroots repair
After removing the hollow areas from the wall surface, reapply plaster to achieve a smooth and level finish. Fill cracks with joint compound and reinforce them by applying mesh tape. Carefully repair defects such as holes and uneven internal/external corners to ensure that the substrate is smooth and solid.
06
Base putty
Prepare the base putty according to the product instructions, and apply it evenly onto the interior wall substrate. Control the application thickness to between 1-2 mm, paying special attention to filling in fine pores and scratches on the substrate to enhance its overall integrity and lay a solid foundation for the application of the finish putty.
07
Fabric putty
After the base putty has completely dried, prepare and apply the surface putty by scraping it on. Typically, two coats are applied, and each coat should be smoothed immediately after application to ensure that the wall’s flatness deviation is kept within 2 mm per 2 meters, with a smooth surface free of any visible joints.
09
Completion Self-Inspection
In accordance with the interior wall construction quality standards, thoroughly inspect the wall’s flatness and smoothness, and verify the absence of defects such as sanding, cracking, or flaking. Ensure that the walls are free of any obvious imperfections and meet the requirements for subsequent painting or direct use.
10
Completion cleanup
Remove indoor protective measures, thoroughly clean away any remaining putty and dust from walls and floors, wipe down contaminated areas such as doors, windows, and light fixtures, and maintain a clean and orderly construction site.
11
Delivery and Acceptance
Organize on-site acceptance of project quality by the client, verify that the scope of construction matches the design requirements, simultaneously calculate the actual quantities of work, and complete the acceptance signing procedures.
