Construction Key Points
When applying Meilijia Moonstone, apply each coat evenly to a thickness of approximately one grain of sand.
Immediately after troweling, perform the first finishing pass; once the surface is 40–50% dry, proceed with the second finishing pass; and when it is 80–90% dry, carry out the third finishing pass.
For large-area construction, it is recommended to have 2–3 people working together.
For the topcoat, a matte finish is recommended. Before each application of the topcoat, the wall surface must be sanded lightly with sandpaper to achieve a smooth, even finish, and any loose dust on the surface should be thoroughly cleaned before proceeding with the topcoat application.

Precautions
- To ensure optimal wall coating performance, it is strongly recommended to use this product in conjunction with the Meilijia complementary system; mixing this product with products from other brands is strictly prohibited.
- Prior to construction, inspect the substrate, remove surface dust, efflorescence, and any contaminants, and ensure the substrate is sound, clean, and dry.
- Construction shall be carried out at a temperature no lower than 5°C and relative humidity no higher than 85%; construction is not recommended in rainy, snowy, or high-temperature conditions.
- During construction, implement appropriate protective measures to prevent skin and eye contact with the product.
- For uneven wall surfaces, first apply white mortar to achieve a level finish.
- To mix the Mara colored stone, first add water, then pour in the powder. Use an electric mixer to blend until a smooth, paste-like consistency is achieved (with no lumps). Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes, then stir it again to ensure thorough blending and prevent any undermixed areas.
- When applying the first coat, the mortar should be slightly thicker; ensure full coverage, a smooth surface, and no trowel marks. For the second coat, the mortar should be slightly thinner, applied to a thickness of about one grain of sand. Once the coating is 70–80% dry, perform the finishing burnishing to eliminate any trowel marks. For large-area applications, it is recommended that two workers cooperate to avoid visible joint lines. At internal and external corners, use a corner trowel to apply the material.
- Before applying the finish coat, lightly sand the wall surface with 400–600-grit sandpaper to remove loose dust, then proceed with the finish coating. Once the second coat has fully dried, lightly sand the wall again using 600-grit sandpaper.
- Construction requirements stipulate that the next process may only be carried out after the preceding process has completely dried.
- The theoretical consumption of the product varies depending on the actual roughness of the construction surface and the dilution ratio.
- The degree of product dryness is influenced by ambient temperature, humidity, and ventilation; at room temperature, drying typically takes 6–8 hours, with the drying time appropriately extended during winter or in humid conditions.
- Keep out of reach of children;
- Storage: 12 months (store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place);
- Transportation: This product is not a hazardous chemical and may be transported as ordinary cargo.
- For the product’s implementation standards, batch number, date of manufacture, inspector, and shelf life, please refer to the Certificate of Conformity.
