Meilijia High-Performance Alkali-Resistant Penetrating Primer [DY001] is a primer specifically formulated for multi-color stone-effect coating systems. It has been optimized to meet the application characteristics and protective requirements of stone-effect paints, and is designed for direct contact with the substrate. This primer performs critical functions such as alkali resistance, sealing, reinforcement, and seamless transition between the substrate and the topcoat, thereby fundamentally ensuring the stability of the stone-effect paint system.

Scope of Use

Primarily used for alkali-resistant and sealing-curing treatment of the substrate prior to application of stone-effect paint, effectively protecting the topcoat from chemical attack by substances within the wall.

 


 

How to Use

Product Use: Simply open the lid, stir well, and use.

Construction tools: wool roller or pressure sprayer specifically for multi-color stone-effect coatings

Product dilution: Dilute with water at 15–25% based on actual usage.

Precautions

  • To ensure optimal wall coating performance, it is strongly recommended to use this product in conjunction with the Meilijia system. Mixing this product with products from other brands is strictly prohibited.
  • Prior to construction, inspect the substrate, remove surface dust, efflorescence, and any contaminants, and ensure the substrate is solid, clean, and dry; the wall’s moisture content must be less than 10%, and its pH value must be less than 10.
  • Construction shall be carried out at a temperature no lower than 5°C and relative humidity no higher than 85%; construction is not recommended in rainy, snowy, or high-temperature conditions.
  • During construction, implement appropriate protective measures to prevent skin and eye contact with the product.
  • This product can be diluted with water according to site conditions. It is recommended to dilute with 20–30% water in summer under high temperatures and with 10–20% water in winter, to ensure thorough penetration of the primer and complete reinforcement of the substrate.
  • If spray application is used, follow up with a long-nap roller to ensure even coverage after spraying; only proceed to the next process step once the coating has fully dried and passed the tape adhesion test.
  • Paint consumption varies depending on the roughness of the actual施工 surface and the dilution ratio.
  • The degree of product drying is influenced by ambient temperature, humidity, and ventilation. At room temperature, drying typically takes 6–8 hours; in winter or during humid weather, the drying time should be appropriately extended.
  • Keep out of reach of children;
  • Storage: 12 months (store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place);
  • Transportation: This product is not a hazardous chemical and may be transported as ordinary cargo.
